This is what I wore to Day on of London Fashion Week. I was lucky enough to attend the back stage show of Felder Felder and see the models getting ready. Tatiana Karelina were responsible for this “Unicorn Braid” can you believe it, I found a Unicorn braid. Tatiana allowed me to sit on the models seat and they braided my hair in two seconds flat.
Where there is ying there is always yang and there is a funny story behind this hair. Obviously there is always a funny story!
I sat in the models seat last, I didn’t want to disturb the models or the hair stylists so I waited until all the models went off to get change. Suddenly a woman was shouting “why is she still getting her hair done” with that I felt a firm grip on my arm followed by “you need to get change, you have one minute”. I went into a state of panic because I am clearly not a model but the lady couldn’t see with the hair stylists around me and my hair covering my face. I was so embarrassed when our eyes met because she would have seen I was a thirty year old bloody blogger just trying to be a model for five minutes. I guess it was a funny experience.
This braid is really easy to do and I love how Tatiana flipped the pony tail over into a little bun with a horn.
My favourite part of this look is my new grey coat from OVER MY BODY. I really love this store and all the Australian brands they carry. This jacket is called the Instrumental coat by The Fifth, it was in the sale so hurry up and take a look before it’s all gone. I am wearing a size small, click here to shop. This jacket is perfect; it has pockets, the long length makes it unique, it’s thin so it’s not too heavy, I love the tie, I love the front panels and it is the perfect (marble) grey. After Felder Felder I met up with Emma and we went to CHANEL. All the sales assistants loved this coat, they made me write the website down, hopefully the CHANEL girls didn’t buy the last few sizes. This coat is perfect for layering on a cold day but it’s also perfect for spring because it’s not too thick, I am in love with it.
My necklace is by Brave Lotus, if you read yesterday’s article here you would have seen that I discovered this brand at Pure London. I was telling you I loved how it was boho mixed with urban; now you can see how I wore one of their pieces. I love to mix vintage with my wardrobe, mix design with highstreet and I love to mix boho with city chic. The price point is really good, so I would recommend checking them out here.
