This look was taken a few months ago as you can tell by how terribly cold I look, I was absoluley freezing. I forgot to publish it so here it is. My blog may be a bit quite over the next few days because I am going on my hen first thing in the morning, I am sooo excited. Follow me snapchat if you what to see videos of my antics away with the girls.
I am excited to share one of my vintage finds; this pearl encrusted jacket from the 80s. Usually this kind of jacket is from the 1920s which is my favourite era by far but the 80’s era was also remembered by its embellished pieces. I am an 80’s child after all so it is also one of my favoured eras when vintage shopping. I found it on ETSY from the shop “ANVINTRO” the owner was really helpful with all my questions and it was delivered really fast even though I am over seas from the store. Click HERE to visit the shop. This jacket is actually for plus size, but that did not bother me because I wanted to wear it big and baggy. The brand is by Judith Ann Creations, which was a brand from the 1980s and known for heavily beaded pieces. I discovered this brand about two years ago whilst looking for beaded/pearl jackets (something I do pretty much every night) I came across the most amazing jacket from a photo with no information about the brand aka Pinterest being annoying. A year later I have collected so many embellished jackets (including this one) along the way. I even tried to re create the jacket from the photo I saw and made one myself, this turned out so good but I still wanted the original. I have finally sourced that “one” I saw all those years ago and could’t be happier with my collection, the bad news is I will not be revealing it until I get married. I will always be so addicted to finding new jackets whether it’s a £3000 Balmain one or a £25 vintage one I can not get enough.
