So many of you asked me about places to go in Cannes so here is a list of some of my fave places. I have also listed places in Monte Carlo.
CANNES
Bâoli restaurant by the port, order spring rolls and fries and get an early booking so you can enjoy the sun, get a good table and then stay for the party later on. Bâoli beach is good for the day.
Shopping I’m Cannes. On the sea front you will find all the luxury stores and behind are the stores like Zara and great luxury vintage stores. There is no Starbucks in Cannes just incase you are wondering! Avoid the restaurants on the sea front, they are all pretty rubbish. Eat at the beach placeS.
The a boat to the “islands’ La Guéritw, île Sainte-Maruerite
If you want to sit on the beach the beach clubs in the busy area are fab but take a drive out to the local towns and you will find more secluded beaches
Have lunch or a drink at Martinez and the Carlton hotel
Vist the “old town” Le Cannet for dinner.
Mougins for dinner
Eze is a beautiful town which is on the way to Monte Carlo
MONTE CARLO
Monte Carlo is approximately 1:15mins from Cannes. Take a walk in the town, all the restaurants are charming and nice.
Nobu at the Fairmont hotel has amazing views outside.
Niki beach at the Fairmont hotel
Laduree carousel behind the casino is so pretty, but not always there
Night out go to Sass Cafe or Jimmy’z
The open air cinema is my absolute fave thing to do in Monaco. Films are only on during peak season and its only one film a night around 10:30. It’s outside by a castle and it’t totally amazing. Take a cardigan as it gets chilly.
