PEARL CARDIGAN MADE by Me
PORSCHE SIZE 66 SUNGLASSES
Debuting my new Toga & Pulla boots that I bought in the sale from Farfetched here, I also have the black ones. I love Farfetch, they always have the best stock and I have never had any problems with delivery or bad customer service. I was tired of wearing all black and wanted to introduce some colour into my wardrobe. When it comes to colour I think red is classic and pretty to easy to wear. Red looks good with denim and grey, so they should fit nicely into my wardrobe.
I actually got slightly over adventurous with this look. The reason behind that was due to the fact that I have been slightly minimal lately and that gets a bit boring and easy.
I made this cardigan myself last year when I came back from Israel. I was in my element fabric shopping and picked up some pearl fabric from one of the makets. I had this old cable knit cardigan and then spent hours and I mean hours hand sewing the pearls. Sometimes the only way to find unique pieces is to make it yourself, I encourage you to experiment and customise old clothes. The cardigan is so heavy and totally transformed from a plain simple knit. If I had bought it like this it would have no doubt cost a bomb. Try your hand at some customising and save some money.
A dream of mine is to design knitwear and beaded pieces. I have a huge passion for fabrics and I would love to combine all my favourite materials and create a collection one day. My blog takes up all my time but maybe in the future, who knows. For now I will stick to making my own little creations just for me.
What do you think, shall I start my own collection?
